Helping Siouxland’s young people achieve their dreams . . .

Each year scholarships are awarded to deserving students from funds established by generous donors who want to make an investment in the future of Siouxland’s youth. Every scholarship has its own unique criteria reflecting the personal interests of the donor. Over the years, scholarships have helped hundreds of students pursue a post-secondary education and a lifetime dream.


SCHOLARSHIPS FOR GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

Below is a list of available scholarships administered by the Siouxland Community Foundation for graduating high school seniors. Each scholarship has its own criteria and guidelines. The Siouxland Community Foundation has a common application that will automatically filter for any scholarship that you qualify for based on your college selection, intended major and your current high school and other unique questions. Scholarship applications will be due February 1 for all high school scholarships listed below, unless otherwise noted.

Common Scholarship Application is Closed for 2022. Application will reopen for May 2023 graduating seniors on November 15, 2022.

Grants

Helping to meet the needs of today and standing ready to help meet those of tomorrow . . . 

Grants are made to nonprofit organizations that provide services vital to the quality of life in Siouxland. Organizations recognized under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and/or qualified government entities located within the greater Siouxland tri-state area (defined as a general 80-mile radius of Sioux City, Iowa), are eligible to receive grants from the Community Foundation. Grants to address present and emerging needs are made in the following focus areas: arts and culture, civic affairs, education, environment, health, and human services.
